Happy Birthday Malinda!

Today is a special day. It's my best friend's birthday, so I thought, what is the point of having a blog if you can't use it to embarrass, er, I mean gush over your friends? Am I right?

This is her . . . she's the one on the right.

She's great. Why?

1. We've been best friends for over 20 years. We're cool like that.

2. Actually, we were never cool. Well there was that one time in high school when one of the popular boys liked us, but we were always "uncool" together.

3. She loves my kids and lets the little one call her Nina.

4. We tell it like it is and agree to disagree rather than argue when we don't see eye-to-eye.

5. She agrees to do weird stuff like this to amuse me and allows photos to be taken.

Happy birthday Malinda! Are you embarrassed? I love you! I do!
