WFMW: Oatmeal Bars

These bars are so yummy and versataile. Really you can add just about anything to this recipe for a delicious bar -- nuts, dried fruit, fresh fruit, chocolate chips. Plus, their quick and inexpensive to make.

Oatmeal Bars
1 c flour
1 c oats
1 tsp baking powder
1/2 c brown sugar
1 stick (1/2 c) butter, softened
1 egg
1 tsp vanilla
1/2 c nuts, fruit, or chocolate chips
Cream butter and sugar together. Add vanilla and egg. Add flour, baking powder, and oats. Stir in fruit/nuts/chips. Press into a 9x13 pan. Bake at 350 for 20 minutes. Let cool in pan before cutting and removing. Enjoy!
