Chocolate Coating

This chocolate coating is great for fruit, pretzel rods, or even cookies. It is quick and easy to make. You are limited only by your imagination! And anything just seems a little fancier (and tastier!) when covered in chocolate.

I'm looking forward to trying mint chocolate over these cookies (minus the candycane of course). Doesn't that sound delicious?

Chocolate Coating

12 oz your choice chocolate
1 T butter

Heat ingredients together in microwave on med-high for one minute. Stir well. Continue to microwave in 30 sec. intervals until chocolate is smooth when stirred. Line a baking sheet with waxed paper. Dip your indulgence of choice in the chocolate, tapping off excess. Place on waxed paper and refrigerate until coating is firm.
